Dear Inga, dear Paul,

The letters – pending

Freely as a modernist

Thanks again for inviting me. Upon the offer of the Dept. of Speech Genres I took the opportunity in early December to re-iterate as bearded conceptual artist our attitude to speak and to propagate our thoughts on using property. I have spoken about such issues earlier, and I continue to do it at other occasions, most recently in May in Macaraibo, Venezuela.

The tropical climate there made me sweat and my spanish words on using
property freely didn't have much more effect than curious as well as
seriously bored faces.

‘The revolution is just around the corner’ M. Dijkman

Dear Nebosja,

Reading Haunting

Dear Inga and Paul,
alongside or rather aside the current editing of the newspaper I'd like to mention once more that I very much appreciate the rereading of the written talk on haunting. And as Inga suggested to keep on doing that, on one's own or during another talk late at night, maybe in order to open up a second session within the Department of Reading or something very different, I realized this space that is exposing itself now in between the Department of Reading and the Faculty of Invisibility, literally as I like to set some links from one page to the other.

Muthanna

In Wehr's Arabic German Dictionary I looked up Muthanna, the term Munir Fasheh introduced during his talk.

Please continue while I sleep

Dear Haunting and Reading.

It does not feel actually so slow | how many are we now? I still don't know how to welcome them | please continue while I sleep | i might be ... somewhere else then

I spent a while on reading through the first part of the chat-history of the Department of Reading – Haunting, which I had enjoyed very much and started to create my first chapter, or another echo.

Opening Speech

Again, I would like to tell you everything, this kept me from writing it. I use more likely oral communication. I warn you, the text sounds rather familiar. It is not the text of the Speech I held in Maastricht. There, I listened, I looked and I spoke from my mind. The ancient greeks called that Parrhesia, telling everything, a sort of truth telling. A fearless speech, a speech in which one will say it all. It does not matter anymore where to start when it is about saying everything. Everything does not really start somewhere and end elsewhere.

Open Letter -Department of Doubt

Dear Faculty,

I am in Madrid. I am very tired. I do not want to work so much. It makes it hard
to think.

I feel very far away from the speech last December, but I want to try and send
you something; to try and connect from here to you reading this. I have started
to read the article about Kleist’s Earthquake in Chili, Soehnke recommended – I
had to order it, so it took a while. I looked at some fan websites for Viktor
Tsoi. I read Agamben Inga recommended on the late night train from the banlieu
